Meeting you at Istanbul Airport
Domestic and international arrivals come together on the ground floor of the single terminal building. Once you are through passport control and baggage claim, your driver meets you in the arrivals hall with a sign showing your name.
Your flight is tracked for airport pickups, so whether you land early or late your driver plans around your arrival. Every offer includes at least 45 minutes of free waiting, which usually covers baggage claim and the passport queue.
Adding your flight number and a phone number you can be reached on makes the meeting smooth. Ask for a child seat when you book; availability depends on the vehicle.

Roads, bridges and journey times
From the airport to the centre of the European side (Taksim, Beşiktaş, Şişli, Sultanahmet) usually takes 45 to 70 minutes. Crossing to the Asian side (Kadıköy, Ataşehir) means crossing the Bosphorus by bridge, and with traffic it can take 60 to 90 minutes.
Tolls for the Bosphorus (15 Temmuz Şehitler) and Fatih Sultan Mehmet bridges are included. Tolls on privately operated motorways such as the Northern Marmara Motorway, and the Eurasia Tunnel, are not. Your driver picks the best route for the traffic.
City traffic peaks between 07:00 and 10:00 and between 17:00 and 20:00. Allow a little more time if you land then; the price does not change with the hour.
